Albert and The Keeper have a reality-shattering confrontation that culminates in an explosion that sends the scientist back in time some forty years. Albert lands in Geneva of the 1960s where he takes refuge in a house of ill repute, and listens in as two prostitutes recount the legendary exploits of a young Bernese researcher who frequented the establishment.
