Amid the destructive campaign that is the Battle of the Bulge, a battle rages between the Nazi occupiers of a seemingly deserted village in the French countryside and the American GIs fighting to liberate it. But in the night, a mutual enemy emerges that will unite both armies. What once was a battle for freedom instead turns into a battle for survival, with both sides suffering horrendous casualties as the feeding frenzy begins.
