This issue: "Father of Wisdom." Genevieve must save Julien's medical practice from being shut down by the Guild of Physicians. Can she do it? Later, Julien visits Rabbi Maiselles and discovers a clue to the true identity of the mysterious entity known as "Baphomet." No, it's not the devil… Julien also trys to question the wealthy Hugo deMedici, who is somehow connected to the stolen scroll and Marin's murder. But deMedici isn't accepting visitors…
