Book 3 introduces King Eddie, a street preacher that is trying to do Gods work on Earth. However, King Eddie is unprepared for what Hell has to offer. Natasami arrives in Oakland in search of David but his arrival leaves the entire city with memories that they will not soon forget. David gets put in a predicament that he might never be able to recover from that ultimately spawn phase 1 of Hells plan.
