A beautiful mermaid is ensnared by a sideshow charlatan and put on display — bringing her captor quite a bit of revenue — until a string of mysterious deaths casts a shadow on the traveling carnival. Inspired by the H.P. Lovecraft novella "Shadow over Innsmouth."
