Men of Mystery #76
an issue of Men of Mystery by AC Comics
Issue description
Men of Mystery has a particularly pulpish flavor this issue, with much of the material taken from the comic-book divisions of the biggest pulp magazine publishers of the medium's heyday. The Black Terror was the biggest star produced by Nedor Comics, while Sure-Fire stars Flash (later changed to 'Lash' ) Lightning and The Raven were the progeny of L.L. Wynn's Ace Publications. And the eerie, atmospheric artwork of Bob Fugitani on The Hood would have been at home in the weirdest of the weird pulps of the day. This issue boasts two Black Terror tales, the Hood in 'The Man Who Sold His Soul To The Devil,' plus Flash Lightning, The Raven, and Major Midnight!
