In the magical world known only as Elsewhere the world's unwanted children have found a home. Under the watchful eye of Kerju, master of the realm, the children develop the special powers they could never have dreamed of in our own mundane world. But sometimes a child wishes to return to our world. When young Jessica makes that choice, there are some in Elsewhere who will stop at nothing to get her back.
