These Stone Dice are carved out of beautiful stone roughs. It is strongly recommended the dice be rolled on a padded surface, only & stored in their protective cases to preserve the dice surfaces for longterm use. While it is fine to use the dice on a padded surface, it is not recommended to use them for game play, since they're made from genuine stone materials.
