The malignant Impalers are a product of twisted experiments: elven warriors locked inside baroque suits of armor. Like the spikes of an iron maiden, the interior of the armor is festooned with obsidian needles, infusing the warrior with the essence of the Void while the design of the armor itself draws entities to infest it.
