Iconic characters from across the Star Wars galaxy clash in this new miniatures skirmish game! Star Wars: Shatterpoint invites players to collect, assemble, and paint their own squads of heroes, villains, and their allies and pit them against one another in tense duels to control key battlefield objectives.
This event will use the Longshanks event software for generating pairings and calculating standings. If you wish, you may register yourself into that system ahead of time using the Longshanks Registration link.
Event Structure: This event will follow the Showdown format. Info on this format can be found here.
The event will consist of three 120-minute Swiss rounds (there will be no cut). Final standings will be determined by win/loss record, with Struggle Cards Claimed, Strength of Schedule, Wounds Inflicted as the tiebreakers.
Format: Models/rules from any sets released at least one week prior to the event (December 10) will be eligible for use. Each player will need to bring one strike force with no repeating characters amongst the squads. Please contact the TO with any questions!
Prizes:
Prizes from the Retail Event Support Kit will be available for this event. These include sets of foil Shatterpoint Order Cards. Prizes from this kit will be limited by supply.
Store credit prizes will be granted to top performers, with the amount depending on the number of participants. There will also be hobby awards, if attendance permits. If more than one player is undefeated and tiebreakers result don't break the tie, they will have the same prize, while other prizes will be determined by standings.
