Open House is the primary space where new-to-Magic players can come and learn how to play Magic: The Gathering in a social environment.
For this Open House, Welcome Decks have made a triumphant return beginning with Duskmourn: House of Horror!
In each box, there are two 30-card decks; one in an indicated color, and the other a random one of the five mana colors in Magic. They can be used for learning the game, and from 5:00 to 7:00 PM players can drop in to try them out with one of our on-staff teachers.

Each participant will receive a foil Night's Whisper promo and 1 Welcome Booster (while supplies last)

After the demo experience, we will be hosting a casual, 3-round tournament for Welcome Decks only!
Beginning at 7:00 PM, players will be matched in Swiss pairings for a series of 30-minute, best-of-one games.
Each player in the tournament will be provided with a Welcome Deck (the two 30-card decks will be combined into one 60-card deck). The decks will be assigned randomly, though players may indicate a color preference and we will do our best to accommodate that. Below is a list of the decks and their titles, which give you a hint to their associated strategy.

• Red: Burn Bright And Burn Fast
• Green: Go Big, Then Go Bigger
• Blue: Always Have Something Up Your Sleeve
• White: Teamwork Makes The Dream Work
• Black: Live, Die, and Live Again

After the tournament, the deck is yours to keep! Additionally, each player in the tournament will receive 1 Play Booster from the set of their choice for participating, plus 1 non-foil Promo Pack per win.
