Pokémon League Challenge
Saturday, November 30
Pokémon TCG League Challenge tournaments are designed to provide players with a comfortable grasp on the rules and mechanics of the Pokemon TCG with small, entry-level events on a local scale.
These events are a great way to step up from the casual and relaxed world of our Pokemon League and into the more structured world of Pokémon TCG tournament play.
Schedule
This event is scheduled to begin after the Top Cut for the League Cup is determined, which we estimate will be close to 4:00 PM.
Once the League Cup Top Cut begins, pairings for the League Challenge will be determined and Round 1 will begin shortly thereafter.
Players that have questions about the legality of their decks or the structure of the tournament may consult with our Professor before tournament play starts.
Format:
- Standard Constructed
- Swiss rounds based on attendance
- No Top Cut.
- 30-minute, best-of-one rounds.
- League Pack for participation
- Additional League Packs to the Top 4 in each division.
- Booster packs based on overall attendance and player's individual tournament performance.
- Players will receive Championship Points based on position and total attendance.
Players will be required to fill out a decklist. Decklists must be turned in before the start of the tournament.
Players must be able to play independently.
Players will be placed in divisions by age group and will need to have a Player ID.
Please do not register for this event if you anticipate there is a chance you will be playing in the Top Cut for the League Cup.
This will save the store the trouble of potentially canceling and refunding your registration.
