Marvel: Crisis Protocol Tournament
Saturday, January 11
11:00 AM
Marvel: Crisis Protocol is a miniatures skirmish game where players form their own Marvel-inspired dream team. They then pit their chosen forces against each other on an interactive tabletop where the very terrain itself can be thrown, crashed into, and destroyed during the super-powered showdown.
This event will use the Longshanks event software for generating pairings and calculating standings. Please also sign up on the Longshanks page.
Event Structure: The event will consist of three 90-minute Swiss rounds. Final standings will be determined by win/loss record, with Strength of Schedule as the first tiebreaker and victory points secured as the second tiebreaker.
Format: This event will use the current Timeline: Standard rules for determining what can be used in rosters. See the Game Rules, FAQ, and Organized Play Documents links for more information. Note that while the rules for what is useable in Timeline: Standard are outlined in the Challenger document, this event is not a Challenger event and will not follow all of the rules in that document. For example, this event will be 3 rounds with no cut regardless of attendance, and rounds will not have variable time lengths. Please contact the TO with any questions!
Prizes:
Prizes from older event kits will be available for this event! We will have a selection of older prizes sorted into baggies of roughly equal value. If you missed out on any events in the past and want to pick up old prizes, this is your chance! Players will be able to select prizes in order by standings, so first place will get first pick. Store credit prizes will be granted to top performers, with amount depending on number of participants. If more than one player is undefeated, they will have the same prize, while other prizes will be determined by standings.
