Marvel: Crisis Protocol - Team Tournament
Saturday, March 15
11:00 AM
Marvel: Crisis Protocol is a miniatures skirmish game where players form their own Marvel-inspired dream team. They then pit their chosen forces against each other on an interactive tabletop where the very terrain itself can be thrown, crashed into, and destroyed during the super-powered showdown.
This event will use the Longshanks event software for generating pairings and calculating standings. Please also sign up on the Longshanks page.
Event Structure: The event will consist of enough two-hour rounds to determine a single undefeated team. Pairings in the first round will be random, and subsequent rounds will use the Swiss pairing method. The first tie-breaker will be the individual win/loss records of team members, and the second tie-breaker will be strength of schedule.
Format: Players will compete in three-person teams, with each member of a team playing a member of the opposing team. In each match, the team that wins at least two of the three games is the victor. Each player on a team builds a standard roster. No characters may be duplicated among rosters on the same team. Crisis Cards, Infinity Gems, and Team Tactics cards are not restricted in this way.
This event will use the current Timeline: Standard rules for determining what can be used in rosters. See the Game Rules, FAQ, and Organized Play Documents links for more information.

Prizes:
Prizes from older event kits will be available for this event! We will have a selection of older prizes sorted into baggies of roughly equal value. If you missed out on any events in the past and want to pick up old prizes, this is your chance! All players will be able to select prizes in order by standings, so members of the first place team will get first pick. Store credit prizes will be granted to top performers, with the amount depending on attendance. Each player may submit one (1) painted miniature for the painting competition.
Prizes:
One registration is for all three players on your team.
