BLKOUT is a hard sci-fi game that takes place in the near future and is brutally quick! With most models being destroyed with a single roll of a D10 die, players must rely on their wits, precise positioning, and equipment to win. The games are played on a dense 2' x 2' or 3' x 3' battlefield with 28mm miniatures, and each player controls about 6-8 individual minis per game. 

BLKOUT aims to be unique by keeping the game action-packed in just 30-45 minutes with a lightweight ruleset and easy army building design. BLKOUT focuses on positioning, and placement of models rather than massive dice pools for combat resolution. 

Humanity's only colony planet is in turmoil. As factions splintered and martial law took hold, dominant state powers began to stake their claims. Arriving 30 years earlier than expected, and much more suited to warfare than exploration.

The period known as the black out heralds the eruption of intense warfare on this nascent world. These initial confrontations are not only rapid and deadly but also pivotal, poised to shape the destiny of the entire planet in a matter of weeks.

Players will take control of these initial forces guided under much larger powers. Shaping and creating the future of this planet battle by battle.

BLKOUT groups will be provided for players to use, players may bring their own BLKOUT forces as well. The demo will cover the basic rules for the game, and allow participants to experience BLKOUT. A game that is quickly growing in popularity after Adepticon 2025 and over the past 2 years. 

We will be running 2 or more demos at once given the small table setup requirements of 2'x2' battlefields.
