Battletech Tournament
Saturday, July 12
The Atomic Empire Classic BattleTech (AECB) is a series of competitive level BattleTech events, meaning that a firm grasp of the rules of the game is required. This event is not recommended for beginners.
AECB events use Swiss rounds for pairing for a number of rounds determined by the number of players in the event. Players are ranked based on the Victory Points scored each round to determine final standings.
Player Responsibilities
Players at AECB events are responsible for bringing and supplying their own miniatures, force list (at least one copy for each round of the event and one for the judges for review), record sheets, dice, pencils or other writing utensils, gaming aids, rule books, and any other materials useful for playing BattleTech. Do not expect the event to supply these for you (e.g.: do not expect to print your record sheets at the event).
Each Event Round is 2 hours and 10 minutes to allow players to finalize the results of their games and for the event staff to tabulate scores, generate new pairings for the next Round, and answer any questions that have arisen.

• Prize for Mech Commander (best general) based on standing and Victory Point total will be awarded first prize.
• Prize for Master Technician (best painted) voted on by players.
• Prize for Solaris Champion (best sport) voted on by players.
• Prize for Cadet (last place) based on standing and Victory Point total.
Prizes will be in the form of store credit, with additional items TBD.
