Board Games: Learning is fun!
by Jen. 8/10/2024
Friends! In just a few weeks, my offspring will be headed back to school & off to college. We like to say that your education should never get in the way of learning! To that end, a few games for kids of all ages to learn something new.
For the somewhat chaotic under 12 crowd:
1) Alphabet Stoop (2-5 players) - A fun variant on wordmaking where you'll deliver 'packages' to create words. Adorable art and fun word creation.
BUY: Alphabet Stoop
For the disinterested teenager:
2) Coffee Rush: The Base Game (1 to many players) - As an avid coffee drinker and supply chain person, it's a great way to engage the teenager in your life on what it takes to make a business run - procure your ingredients, fulfill your orders and get good social media reviews to win!
BUY: Coffee Rush: The Base Game
For the family & friends:
3) Cascadia (1-4 players) - A tile placment (disclaimer - I LOVE tile placement) that creates environments and scores points based on a variety of animal configurations. Wonderfully challenging while being super engaging!
BUY: Cascadia
Hopefully one of these fits into your gaming life. If not, be sure to stop by and check out our back to school display!
Until next time!
